Subject: Judges PLEASE NOTE: assignment to the South Tournament
Hi Judges,

This message is to confirm that you are assigned to the South Tournament at
1501 Oak Avenue, Los Altos, this coming Saturday, November 19.
Here is a link to a Google map to Oak Avenue Elementary School.

South Tournament:
    Tournament Director: Michael Schuh
    Head Judge :            Dave Lordemann

If you have problems on Saturday you can reach me at 650-722-2128 (cell).

Please be at the school by 12:00 (noon).
Please bring a watch or time piece, to help keep on schedule.

The Multi Purpose room face the parking lot at the school and I will have signs to direct you back to Room 19, were we will have the judges training.

It is a good idea to have your lunch before you arrive, or bring a snack with you.
Once the judging rounds start, we will work for an hour and ten minutes, then have a ten minute break, followed by another hour judging rounds.

The first hour will be for training and familiarization with the judging materials that we will provide.  Your actual work as a judge will conclude by 4:00 PM, and you can leave then if you need to do so.  If you are able to stay longer, we would really appreciate it if you  might hand out the awards that you judged and say something about the winning teams.  This year, we have arranged the competition schedule so that the Judges will be able to watch a full set of competition rounds and see the teams in action.  We will also have a demonstration by the Mountain View FIRST High School Robotics team and demonstrations by the best FLL teams.  In short, it is going to be a fun day of robotics for the teams and the judges.
