Two Los Altos teams finish in the top 10 and 6 finished in the top 25 of the performance positions among 64 teams in the Northern California FIRST Lego League State Competition at San Jose City College Jan. 14, 2006. Six Los Altos teams qualified for the tournament.
The Los Altos Community Botball team won first place at the April 23, 2005 Silicon Valley Regional Competition and is going to the Botball National Competition in Jacksonville, Florida on July 13-17, 2005. They are working on raising funds to get there.
Los Altos Robotics placed 6 teams in the top 25 of the 64 team field at the 2005 Northern California state FLL tournament held on January 14, 2006.
